On August 12th, my husband and myself had a flight on airTran.

We had missed our earlier flight and had to be placed on standby.

I had to be at a conference and my husband and myself agreed to sit in the emergency exit seats. We were read all of the requirements to sit in these seats.

No problem we agreed to the requirements. When we boarded the flight at 4:28 PM. we got settled in our seats. This flight attendant Mr. M., came over to us and started explaining about our seats and the emergency exit. I told him that the representatives at the ticket counter had previously explained the regulations concerning the seats and my husband and myself understood.

The flight attendant stated " that was out there and this is in here"

My husband and I just looked at each other in reguards to his unpleasant attitude. He continued to drill us concerning the seats. Than the flight attendant asked my husband and myself could we lift 40 lbs. My husband said sure, and I jokingly stated " l can't lift 40 lbs. and I was laughing, than I saw the look on the flight attendance face and I immediately said "I was just joking, no problem.

The flight attendant continued to talk to my husband, as I looked in my purse for my pocket Bible. I thought I had left my Bible at the ticket counter, so I sighed a relief sound whoo. The flight attendant went off. He said your not even paying attention to me. That's it! you are going to change your seat or be put off of this plane, by the port authorities.

My husband and I were in "SHOCK" What was I being put off of the plane for? All of a sudden I could not breathe and I had to throw up. I stated that I must be having a panick attack, I feel sick.

I rushed to the bathroom, and I was sick, the same Flight attendant
came back to the bathroom pushed on the door and was saying miss, miss, I responded by saying look I am sick. Send a female attendant back. This did not happen, I came out of the bathroom and the F.A. asked me would I be able to fly and I said yes. He said that I have to change my seat. I am a Minister and I prayed to myself and I had to moved my seat away from my husband.

I was embarrassed, humiliated, and I don't even know why this happened!

Oh , I forgot, no one really knew what was happening, until the F.A. loudly said "She has to move her seat or be put off of the plane.

Why did this occur? There was no reason for this!

My husband booked a flight online with spirit air. He made a mistake on the departure date, but, did not notice it until he finished the transaction. So, he picked up the phone 2 minutes after the transaction to change the date and the spirit operator said there would be a $90 charge. He said I just hit the wrong date 2 minutes ago. Are you kidding me. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me "We dont care" What a way to run an airline...A few months ago I myself had to change a time with Jet Blue on the same day and they were more than glad to make the change for nothing. I would like to know if there is anything you can do to help us get some satisfaction.
