US Airways combats rising fuel prices with pretzels

With the cost of jet fuel rising, airline companies are looking for ways to save money. Some, like United, decided to raise fares while others are passing the extra costs onto passengers, such as American’s move to charge passengers for checking in luggage.

Now, US Airways is setting a new standard by sacrificing its free blue and white pretzel packs. The airline announced it would end free snacks for passengers in coach class on all domestic flights.

    the flight i had 3136 was cancled it was from st paul minn to phil
    it was over booked by 40 passangers i was never informed of this when i got to the ap never informed thea the flight was cancled then went to customer service put on flight 1860 stand by never got on that flight either i paid $416.00 for flight 3286 from minn to phil i got to pgh at 11:00 on a flight 355 southwest airlines after paying $100.00plus i dont even remenber what a sham you have at us air also i keiso employee by the mane of cynthia J AT GATE E1 at around 4:pm told other passanger to hurry up or i will get you off this flight the poor women didnt know what to do the employee had just total disrespict and ignorance i am asking for a refund of my ticket thank you eugene p. celender this all happened on july 25th ,2008
